Special Talk by Patrick Barkham

For our groups AGM this year we are delighted to announce that our special guest speaker will be Patrick Barkham, the natural history writer for the Guardian newspaper.

He is the author of many books which include:
The Butterfly Isles: A Summer in Search of Our Emperors and Admirals, Badgerlands: The Twilight World of Britain's Most Enigmatic Animal and Coastlines: The Story of Our Shore.

The talk will start at 8pm on the 2nd November at the Hockley Community Centre, Westminster Drive, Hockley, SS5 4XD.

The talk will be open to both members and non-members. Admission is free although any donations to the group will be greatly appreciated. We will also be having a prize raffle on the night.
